Currently, there are a wide-range of mindfulness-based programs that have developed out of the basic structure and format of MBSR. I applaud these adaptations and experiments, as there are many doors into ‘mindfulness’. I teach the original MBSR course as developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. My teaching adheres to a high level of structure and standards, without such adherence, the veracity of MBSR would be diminished and the scientific results increasingly suspect.
