ONLINE 8 WEEK MBSR COURSE

  • DATES: MAY 9 - JUNE 27, 2023

  • TIMES TUESDAY EVENINGS: 6:30PM - 9:00PM EST 

  • ORIENTATION: THURSDAY MAY 4, 6:30PM - 7:45PM. EST

  • ‘ALL DAY' RETREAT:  SATURDAY, JUNE 17th  9:00AM - 3:00PM EST 

  • A HOME PRACTICE workbook and recorded guided meditations (MP3s) and supplemental handouts, will be provided to support you in this course.

  • *(SMALL GROUP Maximum class size of 16)

  • ALSO NOTE:  This is not a drop-in course. A commitment to attend all ten sessions (includes orientation and the 'all day' retreat) will be required as each class builds upon the other.

TEACHER'S NOTE

Currently, there are a wide-range of mindfulness-based programs that have developed out of the basic structure and format of MBSR. I applaud these adaptations and experiments, as there are many doors into ‘mindfulness’. I teach the original MBSR course as developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. My teaching adheres to a high level of structure and standards, without such adherence, the veracity of MBSR would be diminished and the scientific results increasingly suspect.
