The practice of mindfulness has been shown to exert a powerful influence on one’s health, mental balance and happiness. Developed and inspired by the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D (author of Full Catastrophe Living), MBSR offers practical, scientifically supported teachings, to reduce stress, facilitate relaxation, and promote physical health and emotional well-being.


This course is for those new to mindfulness awareness, as well as for those who have
studied with me before as a way to refresh your practice. Mindfulness training is intended for individuals who are generally healthy, and who would like to learn to manage their stress more skilfully.

The OFFICIAL ONLINE 8 WEEK MBSR COURSE

ORIENTATION: THURS MAY 2th, 7:00-8:15PM 

(You choose what day suits you to attend in the week. All times in EST. 

 

TUESDAY EVENINGS: Starting May 7, 6:30- 9:00PM    

WEDNESDAYS AFTERNOONS: Starting MAY 8th,  2:00- 4:30PM 

 THURSDAY EVENINGS: Starting MAY 9th,  7:00-9:30PM  

'ALL-DAY’ RETREAT:  SAT. JUNE 15, 9:00AM -3:30PM.

Almost 30 hours of instruction in this course. Small class size. 

Multiple MP recorded meditation guides and supplemental support material for each class also provided.

TEACHER'S NOTE
Currently, there are a wide-range of mindfulness-based programs that have
developed out of the basic structure and format of MBSR. I applaud these
adaptations and experiments, as there are many doors into ‘mindfulness’. I teach
the original MBSR course as developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. My teaching adheres to a high level of structure and standards, without such adherence, the veracity of MBSR would be diminished and the scientific results increasingly suspect. You will learn how this secular, scientific, evidence-based practice has become an accepted part of mainstream medicine, and discover how it can positively affect the quality of your everyday life
